Our restaurants do everything they can to get your food delivered on time. At peak hours (evenings and weekends), deliveries may take longer than usual.


Always check the delivery time on your order confirmation email. If it is later than the quoted delivery time, call the restaurant (the restaurant's phone number is also in your order confirmation email) to receive a revised delivery time estimate.


If you have additional questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help!


Our restaurants dedicate themselves to preparing your food. By offering an online-only ordering solution, restaurants can maximize the time they have to prepare your delicious meal and ensure a speedy delivery.


While we are not able to provide you with the restaurant's phone number until your order has been placed, their phone number is always provided on your order confirmation email.

If you have a problem with your food, the best thing to do is call the restaurant directly (their phone number is in your order confirmation email). Because they are the ones making the food, they are in the best position to assist you.

At JUST EAT, we want you to be satisfied with your food! And even though we don’t prepare it, that doesn’t mean we don’t care. If you are having trouble reaching the restaurant, we’re happy to help! Here’s how to reach us:


Don't worry, ordering online is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3:

SEARCH: Go to the JUST-EAT.ca homepage and enter your postal code (i.e. M5V 1A7) in the search box. Click the "Feed Me NOW" button and you will be redirected to a page showing all the restaurants that deliver to your area.

CHOOSE A RESTAURANT that you want to order from. Be sure to select Delivery (if you want the food delivered to you) or Pick-Up (if you want to pick-up the food from the restaurant). You will then be directed to the restaurant's menu page.

ORDER YOUR FOOD!

  • Browse the menu and select the items you want to order by clicking the "+" button. You will see all the items you select appear in the basket on the right side of the menu.
  • When you're finished, click "Proceed" to be redirected to a confirmation page where you can log in to your JUST EAT account or create a new JUST EAT (it just takes a minute and it's free!).
  • On the payment page, select your Payment Method: Debit, Credit or Cash (upon delivery). If paying by card, you will be prompted to enter your payment details.
  • Once your payment is confirmed, we will connect you directly with the restaurant, so don't refresh the page! It may take up to two minutes for the restaurant to respond and provide you with an estimated delivery time.

HOW DO I USE JUST EAT?

If you are paying by credit card, you can tip the driver directly online. At the top of each menu page, just select Item 999 and choose the amount of tip in $1, $3 and $5 increments. The restaurant will tip the driver your selected amount - and you will not have to scramble for spare change when the doorbell rings!


To place any order on our website, you need to meet the minimum order requirement set by the restaurant. To find out the minimum order amount for your order, just check the upper-right hand corner of any restaurant's menu page. You will see both the minimum order amount and the delivery fee applied for the order. Remember that the order minimum is calculated before tax and tip.

The internet is the way forward! Our service is totally on-line, but do not worry, your transactions are always safe and secure. Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we use a third party payment service provider to securely encrypt all transactions made through the site. Lastly, our team of Anti-Cooking Activists always makes sure every order goes out to the restaurant correctly.

JUST EAT tries to accurately enter item descriptions, allergy information, ingredient information and other information relating to the contents of dishes ("Dietary Information") from the menus that are provided to us by our partner restaurants.


However, restaurants themselves prepare the dishes and are responsible for providing this Dietary Information and ensuring that it is factually accurate. Please use the comments box to specify any or all particular allergies or dietary requirements.


If you doubt the presence of allergens, contents of a particular dish or any other Dietary Information, you should confirm with the restaurant directly or reach us below.



Of course you can! You always have the flexibility of choosing whether you want your food conveniently delivered to your door, or have it ready just as you walk into the restaurant. Choose between PICK-UP or DELIVERY at the top of any restaurant's menu page (under the 'select menu' header). Even if you select PICK-UP, you still need to provide your billing address upon checkout in order to verify your payment.

Using a Paycode is very simple. Just follow the instructions below and the credit will be added to your account immediately.

HOW TO LOAD YOUR JUST EAT PAYCODE:

  1. Sign into JUST EAT and click on “My Account” at the top of the home page.
  2. Once in your profile, click on “My JUST EAT Account” (found under the “My Orders” header).
  3. Enter your paycode in the “Use Voucher Code” box and click “OK”.
  4. To ensure your paycode has been activated, refresh the page. Your new Account Balance will appear on the lower left.

 

HOW TO USE YOUR JUST EAT PAYCODE:

  1. Place your order.
  2. When you reach the payment page, select “Use Balance” from the drop down menu.
  3. Pay for the remaining balance of your order by credit card.

JUST EATers love promotions! That is why we love to keep you posted on all the latest contests and promotions through our multiple social media portals. Furthermore, a few restaurants in each postal code region offer discounts to orders over a certain sum of money. For instance, your neighbourhood burger shop might offer 20% OFF all orders over $40. These restaurants will be clearly marked with a 20% OFF red tag next to their name on the search result. Just remember - the minimum for order is before tax and tip.


Unfortunately, there are no gift cards available at the moment. We are working very hard to have gift cards ready for purchase soon. In the meantime, share your love of JUST EAT and pay for your friend the next time you order together.

Although JUST EAT is in 160 cities across Canada, it's a pretty be country and it's possible that we don't have restaurants in your delivery area - yet!


Fortunately, you can help us fix this! Let us know about the best restaurants in your area and our team will try to get them on our site as soon as possible!


Of course! To pre-order, just select the date and time you want your food delivered from the drop down menu before you actually place your order. If you do not select a time, the order will be delivered as soon as possible. The restaurant will confirm the exact time on your confirmation email once they have received the order. You can also follow up with them at any time with the phone number provided in your confirmation email. Please note: you may only order up to one week in advance.

After you have entered your postal code, you will see restaurants have a star rating. The stars tell you what the JUST EAT community thinks. After you have entered your postal code, you will see restaurants ordered according to your best match. You can sort that list of restaurants alphabetically, according to rating, or - if you’re feeling curious - in order of our newest restaurants. TO ADD A MEAL AS A FAVOURITE:

  1. Sign into your Just-Eat account and click on “My Account” at the top of the page.
  2. Click on “Order Overview 2013”
  3. Click on“Add as a Favourite Meal” to the meal you wish to reorder. Name it and click “Done”.
  4. Repeat these steps for each meal you would like to favourite.

 

TO REORDER A FAVOURITE MEAL:

  1. Click on “My Account” at the top of the page. Then, click on “My Favourites”.
  2. Select the meal you would like to reorder by clicking on “Reorder”.
  3. Continue ordering as you normally would. You will be prompted to review your meal, then select a method of payment.

No need to worry - your confirmation email should arrive a few minutes after your order. To be safe, double check your recent orders. Click on "My Account" along the top of the home page. Then, click on "My Orders" to see your recent orders. If your order receipt is there, pheww - your delicious meal is being cooked to perfection, and a speedy delivery will get it to your door in no time. Also: be sore to check your spam folder!

HOW DO I MANAGE MY ACCOUNT?

It takes a short few moments for the paycode to activate and appear on the balance of your account. If the balance does not update after a few minutes, please refresh the page. Alternatively, you can try reloading the paycode using the instructions provided HERE

Here, you can add or remove as many addresses as you would like. So go ahead, add the address of your third cousin, twice removed - you never know when the next family reunion will be!

Of course you can! Login and click on "My Account" along the top of the home page. Then, click on the delete button at the bottom of your account page. You will be prompted to enter your password to confirm that you want to delete your account. If you are sure, enter your password and submit. Your account, and all personal information associated with it will no longer be on file at JUST EAT.

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT PAYMENTS

We accept all payments by Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Furthermore, clients from TD, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal (BMO) and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) have the option to pay by debit, using the Interac Online function. Please note that if you have a Visa Debit card, you may checkout using the regular visa checkout option, by selecting “Pay by Visa” upon checkout. Please Note: It is not possible to checkout using the Interac Online function on the iPhone and Android mobile applications.

Adding a saved card to your account is very simple. Just place an order as you normally would. Upon checkout, select the “Save Card” checkbox when completing the payment (on the right of the credit card number textbox). That card will now be saved onto your account.


Removing a saved card is even easier! Login and click on “My Account” along the top of the home page. Then, click on “Manage my Credit/Debit Cards” (link to just-eat.ca/member/savedcards). You can remove cards by clicking on the “Remove Card” button for each respective card.

If it is early, on time, delivered with a smile, or the restaurant just went the extra mile to make you happy – your fellow JUST EATers need to know! But if it is late, cold, or just plain terrible, we need to know even more!


After every order you place, you will be given the option to leave a review! You will get an email asking you to rate your meal - or you can log in to your JUST EAT account, find the order in the My Account section and leave a review anytime. Reviews get posted within 48 hours, after moderation against profanities.
